Agata

My name is Agata and I moved to Barcelona almost two decades ago, inspired by a love of art & history. Over all that time, this beautiful city has treated me in the best possible way and I still feel enchanted by its delights and charm.

I was lucky enough to start working with Jairo, the owner of Barcelona eBikes, when he had just started the company and since then, I have had many amazing experiences on the bikes with all of the people who came on our tours and with the Barcelona eBikes team as well. During those years, I have been able to explore some of the best, hidden corners of the city and its surroundings and deepen my knowledge of the city’s history and the fascinating artists and architects who have made it the jewel that it is today.
Let me show you Barcelona through my eyes, so that you too can fall in love with it as I did. Be sure that a tour with me will be an experience that touches your heart, while you and your family have a relaxed ride through the city, even on a busy summer day.

If you were to ask me which tour to choose, I would say that my personal favorite is our “Barcelona In One Day” tour. This is a private tour, which gives you the opportunity to visit all of the most important sights in just one day, or to explore the Montjuïc area and the beach on the same tour. If you think that would be fun for you and your family, be prepared to start as early as possible, especially in the hot summer months, so as to get the most out of the experience. I am a mother of a wild child, so you can be sure that your kids and teens will be safe with me and are definitely going to have a lot of fun!

Aina

Born and raised in Barcelona, Aina is an enthusiastic and dedicated tour guide who brings the city’s rich history and vibrant culture to life. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, Aina’s adventurous spirit shines through her love of music and her active lifestyle, which includes climbing, running, and exploring both the sea and the mountains. Her travels through South America for 7 months and biking along Spain’s southern coast reflect her passion for exploration and embracing new cultures wholeheartedly.

Her life motto is: “We only truly understand with the heart. True comprehension comes from within. The Earth is but one country, and all humanity its citizens.”

Aleix

Born and raised in this city, the love I feel for Barcelona is what brought me here. I really like the curiosities and secrets all around the city, and I’ll be pleased to show them to you. I’m passionate about music and cultural events, as well as sports, so I spend my free time exercising, cycling or organizing percussion and electronic music events.

One other thing I really like is answering questions about my city, so don’t be afraid to ask!

¡Hola a todos! Behind every great guide is a great mechanic giving it their all. I’ll be there to ensure that, should anything go awry en route, you’ll have a brand new, fine-tuned bike just for you (although this is hardly ever happens…).

You’ll probably see me quietly checking all the bikes at the beginning and the end of each tour. And if any problems come up, you’ll see me there quickly solving them me so that you can enjoy your experience to the full.

I love the world of biking, cycle-tours and fixing anything I can lay my hands on. You can rest assured that your bikes will be in perfect condition thanks to my handiwork

My name is Etna. I’m a final-year medical student at the university here and I’d be delighted to show you the city I call home! I’m excited to have the opportunity to tell you all the tales that Barcelona has to offer.

I love cycling, history, and meeting people from all over the world. So this is the perfect opportunity to share my passion for story-telling and revealing the secrets that are hidden in every corner of the city.

You’ll find me behind the scenes, together with David and Toni, taking care of the logistics, fixing bikes, or following close behind the groups to ensure that everybody gets back safe and sound with the bikes in perfect working order.

I fix, assist, drive, and organize in whatever way the activity requires so that everything can get rolling without a hitch. Your bike will be ready and in top condition at whatever location you want to start from, fully prepared so that the guides can do their best work. Enjoy Barcelona by bike!

Julio

The unique charm of this city is my reason to go pedaling and explore its epic places. The advantage of good weather and the feeling of security when taking my bike are like a coffee every morning, you drink it and then you let your curiosity drift, that way it is more enjoyable. And you know, there is no better coffee than the one that is shared with a pleasant chat

Rory

Born in the loamy shires of the English midlands, Rory always had itchy feet. As soon as he was old enough to do so, he left home to travel the parched lands of the southern hemisphere before eventually returning to sunny Scotland to study his undergraduate and master’s degrees. However, after the best part of a decade living in Scotland’s bonny capital, foreign lands beckoned once again.

After spending a year living and working at a fish and chips bar in the heart of Brussels, he set off in search of warmer climes and ended up in the remote environs of Castilla-La Mancha, where he taught English at various schools and language academies. This job would later take him to the city of Valencia, where he picked up a couple of languages and discovered that not everything that’s rice is paella. But after a few years basking in the sun, he decided it was time swap the Li-Los for libraries, and relocated to Catalonia.

Rory moved to Barcelona in 2021 to study a doctorate in seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth century literature. In order to afford the reading list, he decided to put his mouth where the money is and became a tour guide at Barcelona eBikes. Here, he is able to combine a lifelong interest in art and history with an infectious enthusiasm for his adopted home-town, ensuring that everyone who joins him will get a real sense of what makes the city so special. He loves a good chat and appreciates it when people ask him questions about the sights. So if you want a fun, interactive tour with which to discover this rich, vibrant city, Rory and all our other superb guides are available and keen to show you around.

Toni

I’m the guy who gets the truck from A to B. Thanks to those four wheels, we’re be able to start and finish from whatever point you need in Barcelona and beyond.

We can have our bikes ready and waiting at any location in the city so that you can enjoy a tour that is tailored to your needs. Any day, anytime, anywhere, I’ll be there with my truck to make sure the bikes are exactly where they need to be.

Count on me for your next outing. After the bikes have been unloaded and set up, you’ll see me there keeping an eye on things until you get back.
